With Whisper Training® our goal is for every human and dog to achieve the best relationship possible. We also want every dog to be happily obedient. We use a combination of appropriate diet, positive reinforcement, clicker marking, praise, play, toys, and love during training to get positive results from the dog and rave reviews from the handlers.

We believe Whisper Training is the best method for training and developing a trusting relationship for both you and your dog. This form of training is wonderful for ALL dogs and is particularly suited for independent, or "stubborn" type dogs because, in general, this dog "type" does not take well to being "forced" to do anything. They will become "reluctant" to perform accurately or develop an aversion to training. Many times after a leash/choke collar correction the dog simply quits or gets "rebellious". This is many times due to the dogs' frustration because he does not know what you want and why he is being punished.

To us this means that the training sessions are not "fun" or "motivational" for the dog. Experience has shown training that is not "fun" or "motivational" produces dogs that either do not perform well "known" behaviors or do perform them with a "distain" that is obvious to all observers.
